What is DoseEffect?

DoseEffect is where science meets story.
It’s your go-to guide for exposure science, and launch pad for real conversations about the messy and the meaningful.

Let’s be honest: most people have never heard of occupational hygiene, even though it touches our lives every day in the form of dust, noise, heat, and the air we breathe at work. DoseEffect came to life to bridge the gap between science and understanding - we demystify the science of occupational hygiene to empower you to take ownership of your health.

But this is more than just sci-com.

Here, we explore life's twists and turns: the trade-offs, identity shifts, and invisible expectations as we navigate careers, leadership, womanhood, and the ever-elusive idea of “balance.”

Hi, I’m Ash!

I’m a self-confessed science nerd who’s spent the last decade figuring out how to make workplace health make sense.

I created DoseEffect as a place to bring science and stories to life.

I believe that good things happen when we’re brave enough to share what’s real, even (and especially) when fear is along for the ride.

Welcome to DoseEffect!

Do it anyway.

Off Duty

Ash calls the Central Coast of NSW home, where she lives with her husband and fur babies. When she’s not consulting, speaking or creating, you can find her kicking a footy, at CrossFit, adventuring on her motorbike or chasing whatever bold new idea popped into her head.

Ash is available for media and collaborations wherever a good story takes her.

Say hello if you want to team up, book a chat, or just swap stories.
